President Amer Al-Mudallal Announces Formation of a New Committee on Membership

• President Amer Al-Mudallal today announced formation of a new Committee on Membership.  In an e-mail to members, the President explains that this committee is part of a "continuing effort to increase participation in our Union and increase our influence with EPA management."  Joe Edgell will serve as chairman.
• The Membership Committee’s primary purpose under our Bylaws is to increase and retain members in our Chapter.  As the President explains, he has "asked [the committee] to (1) devise a program of membership recruitment; (2) instruct and organize membership recruiters in each location within our Chapter’s jurisdiction; and (3) regularly report to [him] regarding the success of the membership recruitment efforts."
• In his announcement, the President asks that all members assist this new committee in its efforts.
